Most people have a hard time not only of achieving goals, they have extreme difficulty at times working towards goals, setting goals and seeing things through to the end results. Motivation is a big issue, so allow me to say that you can get motivated to reach your goals and achieve the success that you have always dreamed about. Finding and working your motivation comes from within. A person has to have that
desire themselves. How many bosses, coaches, and parents try to push a person or child into a high motivated status only to have it backfire. You can start a person out on motivation yet a person has to have the burning desire (and at times be willing to do whatever it takes) to achieve goals.
The definition of motivation is: The general desire or willingness of someone to do something. The reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.
Things to take into consideration when getting motivated:
Having the ability to keep your motivation going for long periods is a necessity. Having low motivation and a lack of an inner drive will bring down your ability to achieve the goals you desire.
Motivation is the energy, the burning desire to achieve goals and find that winning success.
Having the right motivation can give you power. Do you have the mentality to make changes accordingly, to push that motivation into high gear? There are ways to change your motivational outlook.
Motivation is insight as to where you want to be in life and how you are going to get there.
With no motivation, the majority of individuals go through life in daily dull, boring routines, because they have no goals set, they allow the system to dictate as to how they are going to go through their daily lives.
Yes, you can get motivated to reach your goals, it will take work, persistence, dedication and believing in yourself. It is hard work, perhaps that is why millions of people give up entirely or will just settle for less than what their dreams and goals were set at. Once you have the desire to achieve a goal you need to get motivated and then you have to stay motivated because difficulty will set in, bumps in the road have to be crossed and sometimes even mountains have to be conquered, yet the results are priceless to the individual who reaches that goal.
- Learn to focus on what you want to achieve, get into the right mindset
- Set daily, monthly, weekly, yearly goals. Write them down and look at them every single day. Understand smart goal setting. You can change them and make adjustment as you go along
- Find and get connected with a source that you can pull your motivation and inspiration from.
- Keep moving forward. Sometimes it will feel like you are running, sometimes it will feel like you are in slow motion and probably most of the time it will feel like you are going two steps back for every one step forward.
- Start by making small changes in all aspects of your life.
For example: set a goal that you will walk an extra mile today, that you will not charge anything on your credit cards for a few months, set up a household budget and stay with it, focus on getting your body and mind in better health, keep educating yourself, do something nice for someone else, learn to take pride in everything you do. All small steps but important steps to get you going in the right direction.
So yes you can get motivated to reach your goals, decide what ways will be best for you. The outcome is success, it is a better lifestyle, it is all about your standard of self being, achieving that “high feeling” of what you want to achieve and where you want to be.
